How does LMT2 work?
We meet weekly over the course of 6 weeks, with a "demo day" at the end. Every week we show updates of what we're working on and get feedback from others in the cohort.
If you come to 5 of the 6 show & tells, you'll get a badge. It looks like this:
But really, the badge is just a side-effect. It's magical to be there every week, see familiar faces, and have fun witnessing everyone's progress.
Questions you may have
Is this remote? You bet.
Is this free? Yep!
What should I work on? That’s up to you! It doesn’t have to be programming related. In fact, I encourage non-programming projects to join. Write a song, learn a skateboarding trick, create a new recipe. There’s magic that happens when people from different domains mingle.
Can I work with others? Absolutely. In fact, I encourage it. You’re welcome to combine forces halfway, if you want.
How much should I work on my project? Totally up to you. I understand you may have school/work/life with friends and family and those take time and commitment. Do what you can and what you feel comfortable doing! Set your goal so that doing a little each day will ensure you reach it.
What timezone does it take place? We have people join from SF to Seoul, so there are 2 times each week to join. One time makes it easier for those in the US to join, and another makes it easier for non-US participants to join. So, don't worry about it being super early or late.
